When is the Holy Week? How is the Holy week in Marbella? You should come from the 14 of march to the 23 march to Marbella and you will have the most exciting and beautiful experience. Enjoy and live the typical spanish Holy Week in Marbella.
In Spain we celebrate the Holy Week in a very special way. In Andalucia are the best and biggest celebrations specially in Málaga and Sevilla. Marbella has a very nice Holy Week too, but logically not as big as in other citys. Anyway Holy Week in Marbella is a celebration that nobody, either inhabitants or visitors, can or should miss. A ritual celebrated in antiquity,
the processions of the holy statues and the participants in the religious marches are

watched and followed by thousands of spectators who attend the various stages of the celebrants carrying or accompanying the images from their individual churches.Nine “cofradías”, that is, parish fraternities, including cofradias from nearby Nueva Andalucía
and San Pedro de Alcántara, collaborate under the group title of the Agrupación de Cofradías de Semana Santa and organise the neighbourhood processions. It’s a beautiful spectacle you can’t miss.
